Deceptively spacious, Ryoko & Keisuke Masuda designed this 3-story cylindrical home in Kawaguchi, Japan.
The staircase spirals up to the top, creating a pretty tall ceiling. It's like living in a miniature Guggenheim!
Not sure what that beanpole-looking green structure is in that bottom photo, but it makes me think of what a lilypad would look like from underneath. That cut-out on the facade is really interesting too. It's like an abstract key-hole.

UPDATE: Upon further inspection, it seems that the green thing is actually a rope! What are you supposed to do with that thing? Swing from it?! FUN!
